Jack Farthing

Jack Farthing (born October 14, 1985) is an English actor who is notable for playing Freddie Threepwood in Blandings[1] and as villain George Warleggan in the BBC One drama series Poldark.[2] He also appeared as George Balfour in The Riot Club.[3]

Early life and career

Born and raised in North London, Farthing has described his childhood as "lovely".[4] Farthing was educated at Westminster School,[5] before reading History of Art at St Catherine's College, Oxford, and then attending LAMDA.[6]

He has performed at the Royal Court Theatre and had a small role in Stephen Poliakoff's series Dancing on the Edge.[7]
