Ashkan or Ashkaan (Persian: اشكان ) may refer to: a Persian name for boys that means “belonging to the Ashkan empire”, “like Ashk“. Ashk was the founder of the Ashkan Empire, known in English as the Parthian Empire. Ashk is known as Arsaces I of Parthia in English.
